I Lost 5 Pounds, Whoopie!
Well, you have to celebrate the small victories as well as the big ones. Losing weight is as much a mental game as it is a physical one. Gotta keep the good momentum going because it is hard to make fundamental changes to your lifestyle.
I stepped on the scales this morning and rang in at 342.4
That's a tad more than 5 pounds lost since I weighed in back on Feb 21st. Nothing spectacular but I knew the results would be slow going into the weight training. I am actually surprised that I did not gain a little before it started coming off.
The weight training has been going good although I have already missed a couple sessions. It's hard to get back into a routine. You have to just keep on going and if you miss, so what. Don't use it as an excuse or reason to stop all together!
The soreness is actually starting to go away. Another couple weeks and I should start feeling great. Remember, when I was young, I did a lot of weight training. After the initial "start up" period where your body constantly aches all the time, you start feeling really good and look forward to the work outs.
I am waiting patiently for that to kick in. LOL This post is getting a little long so I am going to cut it short. In a day or two, I'll post about what I have been eating and how often. I have done this before so I know it works. This time, I'll keep it off with the weight training.
