I have been really successful with my weight loss program so far this year. I seem to have hit somewhat of a road block. This morning I stepped on the scales and had put some weight back on again.
Today's official weigh in 310.0 lbs. even. That puts me at plus .4 for the month of June. That means I have to lose 10 pounds in 19 days to make my mid year goal of 300.
All I can do is try. I have noticed that some times the weight comes off in spurts. I need a good spurt here in the next couple weeks. I have been slacking on the sit ups a bit. Maybe I need to remedy that right away.

I am almost halfway through the month and I have not even lost a pound yet. I have to admit that I have been slacking off on the exercise a little. I have been pretty good about riding my bike every morning, but I haven't been doing my usual 400 sit ups. I have been really busy, but that is no excuse! I have also been eating a little more than usual which I attribute to giving up the Hoodia Gordonii. I haven't taken any at all this month.
Yesterday, I did my 2 miles on the bike in the morning and in the evening. I only did 100 sit ups before I went to work. I stuck to my normal eating schedule but I did eat a pretty good sized piece of steak for dinner.
Today's official weigh in: 309.2 lbs. That's .4 lbs for the month and 40.6 for the year.
I am 9.4 lbs away from my target weight of 300 by the end of June. I am going to make an attempt at increasing my efforts and see if I can drop 9 lbs. in 20 days.
I spent the entire weekend in West Palm Beach looking at houses. Even though I didn't do any exercise and ate out for all of my meals, I still managed not to gain any weight. This included a pig out at Sonny's Barbeque on Sunday. The rest of the time I tried to eat veggies and nothing fried. I managed to keep my weight under control, but am falling behind on my program for the month. My mid year target is approaching fast. I need to be at 300 lbs. by the end of June. I still have a little over 9 lbs. to go.

I finally lost the weight that I gained over the weekend. It took me 3 days to undo what I basically did in a day. If I had to guess, the culprit was the beer. I made the same mistake on Mother's day weekend and put on several pounds.
That is why you have to give up alcohol and sodas, if you want to lose weight. Drink only water and lots of it.
Today's official weigh in: 309.6 lbs. That puts me back where I started out this month so nothing lost for the month and 40.4 lbs lost for the year.
Yesterday I rode my bike 2 miles first thing in the morning and did 200 sit ups. I didn't have time to do anything after work because we went shopping and went out to eat at Sweet Tomato, the all you can eat salad bar. I ate 2 huge plates of salad and still managed to lose over a pound. Just goes to show you that you can still eat a lot if you eat smart.
Yesterday I got up and did my usual 2 miles on the bike and my 200 sit ups. I started to do my 2 miles on the bike after dinner but had to cut it short due to these huge swarms of gnats that I kept running into. So I went back inside and did another 200 sit ups.
Today's official weigh in: 311.4 lbs. I still have a little ways to go before I get back to where I was last Friday.
I kept my eating routine pretty much the same. We were out of milk so I had some toast with Philly cream cheese for breakfast, an apple for mid morning snack, celery with peanut butter for lunch, baby carrots for a mid afternoon snack, and for dinner I had a pork chop and mixed veggies. As usual, I drank at least a gallon of water through out the day, which is easy to do now that summer is in full swing here in Florida.
