Thunder thighs, big butt…whatever you call it, the extra fat on your thighs and butt is not pretty. Not only is not pretty, it's also dangerous to your healthy because it's linked to heart disease, diabetes and a bunch of other bad stuff.  In today's world you are faced with  literally thousands of different diet programs, diet workout machines, gimicks, gizmos, pills, patches, drugs and the list goes on and on. It's all enough to drive you crazy! Many of the plans on the market are also quite expensive….some costing hundreds or more per month! Now let's get to work!  What follows is three step, real world plan to help you effectively lose your thigh and butt fat fast and forever!

 

First: Exercise!  There's an old saying, "exercise is king, diet is queen". Look, diet is also super important but we need to get you off the couch and moving!  There are two parts to your exercise program:  light weight lifting and cardio.

You will lift weights for 30 minutes three days per week on alternating days and do your cardio work three different days, also alternating. Rest on the seventh day. For the ladies, please don't fear lifting weights. Lifting weight's burns tons of calories and will shrink your thighs and butt in no time! Leg lifts, leg curls, push ups even pull ups. Do what you can..even if you can't do one…then do part of one. You will be sore for the first week or two but that will go away. It's a fact: muscle burns fat for energy. the more muscle you have, the more fat you will burn each day. For the ladies, you will not get "muscle bound",  by lifting your thigh and butt muscles will get that lean sexy tone you want. Cardio will not chage your look like weights will. However, cardio will accelerate your metabolism. For that matter lifting weights also speeds your metabolism up. Metabolism is the rate at which your body burns fat. 

Second: Diet! This is a big topic so I'm going to offer an over view. Eat 4-5 small meals per day. Lean protein, vegetables, fruits, and MUFAs. Huh?  MUFA stand for monounsaturated fatty acids and include oils, olives, nuts, seeds, avocados and dark chocolate. 30% of your daily calories should come from MUFAs and you should have some at every meal. Why? Because the science is clear:  MUFAs burn fat and protect your heart. Combined with the exercise regimine above your going to be on your way to effectively losing your thigh and butt fat in a hurry! 

 

Third: Drink Water!  Lot's of water…in fact drink 64-128 ounces of water per day. This will further accelerate your metabolism and do wonders for your skin and digestive system

 

That's it!  Effectively losing thigh and butt fat is not only attainable, it's guaranteed if you follow the steps outlined. Remember, you didn't put the weight on in a day and it's going to take a few weeks to peel it off.
