I Am Trying A New Weight Loss Technique

Even though I am using a proven method to lose weight, I am always interested in other techniques. Yesterday I began testing a new technique to facilitate faster weight loss. I belong to a newsletter from another weight loss blog. In the latest issue, the "Former Fat Guy" was talking about  how doing cardio on an empty stomach first thing in the morning burns fat 300% more effectively. So yesterday I got up and did 2 miles on the bike and then my 200 situps before work. I also rode another 3 miles on the bike after dinner and another 200 crunches while watching TV in the evening.

Today's official weigh in: 320.2 lbs That's 7.4 lbs for the month and 29.8 lbs for the year.

I am going to do the same routine today and hopefully I should break the 30 pound milestone for the year tomorrow. I am going to continue the 2 a day routine throughout May and see if I can improve my results. Doing a cardio workout in the morning gives your metablolism a kick start, not to mention, I felt great all day long.

I know some of you are thinking that you don't have the time. Well, it only takes me 20 minutes to ride my bike 2 miles and do 200 situps. Multiply that by 2 times a day and you are looking at less than an hour. If you can't set aside an hour a day to improve your health and lose some weight than you are wasting your time trying.

I will continue with the same eating routine and always drink a lot of water.

Yesterday I had a banana for breakfast, a pear for mid-morning snack, a ham sandwich for lunch, an apple for the mid afternoon snack, and for dinner I had baked chicken and corn on the cob. Yes I drowned it in butter and used a lot of salt and pepper, but you have to let yourself splurge once in a while. The important thing is that you get results.
