Losing Weight On A Sunday

Another typical Sunday begins when I wake up around 6am and hear something downstairs. I walk down the steps and see my 3 year old daughter pulling things out of the refrigerator. She tells me she is going to make breakfast. Well, at least she didn't crack open any eggs this time. I proceed to fix us a bowl of cheerios, some choclate milk for her and a cup of coffee for myself. I go back upstairs for the days official weigh in.

Today's weight: 335.6  that's -1.2lbs for the month.

Then I knock out 100 crunches on the Ab Roller while watching…yes…the Wiggles again. They come on the Disney channel every morning at 7 am and my daughter never misses them. Later on, after everyone is up, my wife makes some eggs and sausage. I have 3 sausage links and a small helping of eggs. After eating I fire up the computer and make my daily post to this blog. That's all the computering for today. (Gotta take a break sometime.)

We all go the the pool for a couple of hours (we live in Fort Myers, Florida) and my daughter helps me wash the car when we get back. I have a turkey and salami sandwich on wheat bread for lunch with a big glass of water. Remember, drink lots of water. I can't stress this enough, but I will try. In a months time you will be sick and tired of hearing me say it.

I spend about an hour or so going through some boxes in the garage and then watch some TV with the family. During commercial breaks I squeeze in another 100 crunches and we have some microwave popcorn and I eat about 8 ounces of fresh strawberries. After we watch Wayne's World for the hundreth time, I kick back on the patio and spend an hour playing my guitar.

Just before dinner, I make some repairs to my son's bicycle and spend some more time sorting through boxes. I have hundreds of books that I have decided to sell or giveaway to a used book store. We just don't have room for all of them and most of them I'll never read again. For dinner we have rice with meatballs and mixed vegetables. I have one bowl full and a big glass of water.

No stretching or meditating last night, just an hour with the latest Star Wars novel, some fun time with the wife, and off to sleep. By the way, you have probably heard that having sex can burn a couple hundred calories or so? This is only true if you are doing most of the work. I highly recommend doing most of the work on a regular basis, if nothing else, to burn the calories.
