One of Those Strange Fluxuations

I re- weighed myself 5 times this morning. For some strange reason I gained a pound. I have noticed that this will occur sometimes and I'm not going to lose any sleep over it. It is one of the reasons why normally, I would only weigh myself once or twice a week. I do it everyday now soley because I am writing this blog. I did break my routine a little yesterday but not that much. It is just one of those things that will happen when you are on a weight loss program (notice I did not say diet). The important results are what you lose over time.

Today's official weigh in 322.4 lbs. That is a 1.2 lb gain and puts my at 5.2 lbs lost for the month and 27,6 lbs lost for the year.

The break in the routine yesterday occurred because I didn't go to the grocery store the night before. Instead of my usual cereal for breakfast I had a couple pieces of toast (white bread, not wheat). I didn't have any fruit for my daily snacks so I didn't eat any snacks just Subway for lunch. We had macaroni and cheese and hamburgers for dinner and instead of popcorn for my evening snack we had Oreo cookies. Bad, bad, bad! What the hell, you have to give in to temtation once in a while.

I slacked a little on the exercise as well. I did my 200 crunches on the AB Roller, as usual, in the morning. I didn't do anything else the rest of the day except for the "Yoga For Weight Loss" program befroe I went to bed. I am really growing fond of the yoga. It is an awesome stress reliever and I sleep like a rock when ever I do it before I go to bed. I am into the whole "new age" approach to things and have been reading up on yoga. I was already into meditation a little bit thanks to the karate classes I took in high school. I am probalby going to post an article that explains a little more about yoga and what it can do for you like I did for the Hoodia Gordonii.
